The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has issued a tender to select operators for providing mobile services across the country. The country has been split into 22 clusters for the purpose of bidding, and operators can bid for any number of clusters. A maximum of two operators will be selected per cluster. The bidding companies must already hold individual network facilities provider and network service provider licences.
