Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has invited expressions of interest for outsourcing the operations and maintenance (O&M) of its customer service centres (CSCs) located in Tirupattur, Arakkonam, Arani, Chengam, Vaniyambadi, Sathuvachari and Bagayam.
According to the press release, sealed applications are being accepted for selecting BSNL franchisees to manage O&M activities at these centres. The CSCs serve as key customer touchpoints for a range of telecom services including the sale of new 4G SIM cards, prepaid mobile recharges, 4G SIM upgrades, booking of new telecom services such as fibre-based high-speed broadband, bill payment collection for various services and plan change requests.
Further, BSNL has set November 27 as the last date for submitting applications.
