Minister of Education has inaugurated the artificial intelligence (AI) Innovation and Incubation Centre at DPS RK Puram, New Delhi, entirely developed in collaboration with VVDN Technologies and Google Cloud. The AI Innovation & Incubation Centre is set up to bridge the gap between education and industry. By integrating the AI solutions from Google Cloud into the curriculum, students are empowered to gain real-world exposure and hands-on experience with AI. These technologies include Google Cloud’s unified AI platforms like Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, and students will have access to professional skilling programs such as Google Cloud Skills Boost. VVDN will further provide students with practical learning experiences in emerging technologies such as humanoid and companion robotics (AIBO, Unitree G1), AR/VR Glasses, IoT kits, and Raspberry Pi systems.

The Centre also features a structured four-level AI curriculum for students from Class 6 onwards, progressing from foundational AI concepts to advanced machine learning and generative AI applications. Through hands-on projects in domains such as computer vision, natural language understanding, and generative design, the centre aims to transform classrooms into dynamic innovation spaces. The AI centre establishes a future-ready and inclusive learning ecosystem where ideas are encouraged, ethics are integral, and learning is experiential.

Additionally, the centre will also serve as a shared innovation resource for neighbouring and government schools, extending access to AI tools, mentorship, and facilities to promote inclusive growth. Regular workshops, hackathons, and innovation challenges will further nurture creativity, inspire collaboration, and encourage students to design solutions that promote social impact and sustainability. Another key pillar of the initiative will be faculty enablement. Educators are being trained in AI fundamentals, cloud education, and ethical AI to ensure effective mentorship and guidance.

For the creation of the AI Innovation and Incubation Centre, VVDN Technologies contributed its expertise in AI hardware, product engineering, and robotics, while Google Cloud serves as the digital backbone that enables advanced AI-driven learning and research.

Commenting on the announcement, Anil Kumar, principal, DPS RK Puram, said, “The AI Innovation and Incubation Centre is more than a facility, it is a movement to transform learning for the future. It empowers our students to become creators, innovators, and responsible thinkers who will shape India’s digital journey. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, it promotes experiential, multidisciplinary learning that builds critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.”

Meanwhile, Vivek Bansal, president and co-founder, VVDN Technologies, said, “At VVDN Technologies, we believe in empowering young minds with access to real-world technology and innovation. Our collaboration with DPS RK Puram and Google Cloud reflects our shared vision of bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry application. The AI Innovation and Incubation Centre will inspire students to experiment, build, and think like innovators from a young age, shaping the future of India’s tech-driven growth.”

In addition, Ashish Wattal, country director of public sector at Google Cloud India, said, “We are pleased to deliver the AI technology backbone for the new AI Innovation and Incubation Centre at DPS RK Puram. By providing students with direct access to powerful tools like our next generation Agentic AI Platform, Gemini Enterprise, and more, we empower them to maximise the transformative potential of AI and contribute to India’s technological progress.”
