Bharti Airtel appoints Salia Gbane as Managing Director of its Chad operations

Bharti Airtel has appointed Salia Gbane, as managing director for its Chad operations. Gbane was formerly the commercial director at Airtel in Gabon.

He brings to the table experience in the telecom, banking, oil and the FMCG sectors and has worked with organisations like Celtel, Shell, Nestle and Standard Chartered Bank.

He is expected to replace Mbaye Sylla Khouma.
