At its annual general meeting, the Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI) unanimously elected Amit Mathur, executive senior vice-president (VP), Reliance Communications (RCOM), as its president. Mathur takes over from Sunil Batra, VP, corporate affairs, Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL). Meanwhile, Arun Kumar Singh, add-itional VP, TTSL, has been unanimously elected as AUSPI’s VP. AUSPI is the industry lobby body, which represents pure CDMA and dual-technology carriers such as Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited, RCOM and TTSL.
