VIL’s board has appointed Suresh Vaswani as an independent director for a period of three years, with effect from February 8, 2019. Vaswani is currently serving as an external global adviser to Bain Con­sulting. In addition, he is a board member of Servion, Inc. and a senior director at Everstone Capital where he plays the role of an operating adviser in its IT/BPO portfolios. Prior to this, Vaswani served as chairman of Dell India and worked with IBM Global Technology Services as general manager, solutions, delivery and transformation.
