In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) reported a net loss of Rs 1.19 billion for the quarter ended June 30.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 5.57 billion in the same period last fiscal. However, net sales rose to Rs 5.84 billion during the April-June 2011 quarter, as against Rs 5.52 billion in 2010.
During the quarter under purview, TTML paid Rs 1.13 billion as interest on various activities.
