Three companies have qualified to participate in Thailand’s upcoming 3G licence auction. AIS, True Move and DTAC – the three largest mobile operators (by subscriber numbers) in the country – have submitted their bid papers while Win Win, a motor car import firm, has been disqualified after it failed to tender the bank guarantee deposit. AIS will bid via its subsidiary Advance Wireless Network, DTAC via DTAC Internet Service and True Move through its Real Move unit.
