Telekom Malaysia (TM) has signed a 15-year wholesale Ethernet Service and Master Tenancy for Infrastructure Sharing Agreement with Malaysian Wi-Max licence holder YTL Communications.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) has signed a 15-year wholesale Ethernet Service and Master Tenancy for Infrastructure Sharing Agreement with Malaysian Wi-Max licence holder YTL Communications. YTL Communications can gain from the scalability of bandwidth through TM’s integrated solutions and can leverage the sustained bandwidth of TM’s wholesale Ethernet to access large volumes of data and utilise bandwidth-intensive applications. According to the agreement, YTL Communications will be able to use more than 200 of TM’s telecom towers across the country to facilitate the rollout and installation of its Wi-Max network.
