Value-added service provider Spice Digital has appointed Lokesh Gupta, Sudhir Kathuria and Pankaj Gupta as COOs for the northern and eastern regions, the western region and the southern region respectively.
The move comes after two previous COOs of the company left in quick succession. Mohit Rampal resigned in August 2010 to join Motricity as managing director for South Asia, and Vinish Kathuria left in June 2010 to join Smile of India as director.
Lokesh Gupta, COO for the northern and eastern region, has 15 years of experience in the telecom industry. Kathuria, who will now be managing the western region, has 19 years of experience in sales and marketing. Pankaj Gupta has been with Spice Digital for over two years. He has earlier worked as associate vice-president for SPANCO Telesystems and Solutions for over three years and as country manager for Crompton Greaves.
