Digital Infrastructure Providers Association (DIPA) has appointed Dhananjay Joshi, MD and CEO, Summit Digitel, as its new chairman; and Sandeep Girotra, CEO, American Tower Corporation (ATC) India, as vice chairman, with effect from October 1, 2023.
Dhananjay Joshi takes over from Akhil Gupta, chairman, Bharti Enterprises Limited, who had been serving as chairman of DIPA since 2011. Meanwhile, Sandeep Girotra takes over from Amit Sharma, former executive vice president at ATC.
During DIPA’s annual general meeting, Akhil Gupta accepted the request of the executive committee (EC) members to hold the position of patron member, DIPA; while Amit Sharma agreed to be DIPA’s special invitee for all EC meetings.
