Lava Mobiles has introduced the Iris X1 smartphone which functions on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
The device has a 4.5 inch screen and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Broadcom BCM23550 processor. The Iris X1 packs in 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. It supports dual SIM cards and cameras (a 8 megapixel rear and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera).
The Iris X1 supports technologies such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 BLE, micro-USB and Edge. The device is priced Rs 7,999.
