Collaborative efforts and trial of India-specific use cases key to 5G success, says TRAI

According to TRAI, there is a need to put in collaborative efforts and initiate field trials for India-relevant use cases in order to make 5G a success in the country.

As per TRAI, the development of India-specific use cases would prove to be beneficial in the near future.

India’s incumbent telcos, namely, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea are reportedly already working on the development of locally-relevant use cases which could bring new revenue streams.
