Celkon Mobiles, a Hyderabad-based handset manufacturing company, is targeting revenue growth of 50 per cent in revenues in 2014-15. It is aims to achieve revenue figures of Rs 14 billion during the period under consideration.

According to the company, smartphones will be the biggest driver for this growth. These phones currently comprise 60 per cent of its total sales.The figure is likely to go up with increasing  smartphone penetration in the country.  Further, the company is focusing on the Tier-II cities and towns which are the highest consumers of smartphones.

Celkon sold around 700,000 handsets in 2013-14 and realised Rs 9.20 billion as revenues. It is targeting to sell around one million handsets in 2014-15.

Celkon recently launched the Campus Nova A352E handset in the Indian market among many other phones including Campus A15K, Signature Two A500, Millennium Elite Q470, Millennium Power Q3000, Millennium Vogue Q455, Campus Mini A350, Millennium Dazzle Q44, and the Campus A35K.
