Spectrum refarming of 1100 MHz would enable 5G rollout with better services, says COAI

According to SP Kochhar, director general, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), the recently-approved spectrum refarming of 1100 MHz would enable 5G rollout with better services to nearly 1.20 billion subscribers.

Meanwhile, Kochhar noted that the industry body has forcefully and logically propagated that the Indian ecosystem requires 2000 MHz of spectrum for International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT).
