he South Korean government will allow leading telecom carriers such Tas Korea Telecom (KT) and South Korea (SK) Telecom to bundle fixed line or wireless voice services with internet services at discounted rates starting July 2007. So far, only small telecom companies have been permitted to offer such bundled services at discounted rates in order to dilute the dominance of large players.

KT is expected to combine its basic telephony and broadband offerings with its mobile subsidiary KTF’s wireless voice services.

Similarly, SK Telecom may integrate various telecom applications with its mobile services.
