China Unicom and Russia-based Trans Telecom Company (TTC) have signed an agreement to construct an overland Sino European optical cable with a bandwidth capacity of 10 gigabits.

China Unicom and Russia-based Trans Telecom Company (TTC) have signed an agreement to construct an overland SinoEuropean optical cable with a bandwidth capacity of 10 gigabits.

Consequently, China Unicom will be able to expand its business to Europe through TTC’s partners. The Chinese telecom service provider has also signed cooperation agreements with seven international telecom operators to strengthen its CDMA and international roaming businesses.
