Bharti Airtel is set to offer local Airtel-to-Airtel calls at Re 0.15 per minute. This will be the lowest rate offered by any operator since the introduction of mobile telephony in the country in 1994.
Separately, the company has announced a strategic tie-up with Microsoft to enable mobile users to access a range of Microsoft Office applications and other multimedia products on their mobile phones.
