Bharti Airtel has entered into a three-year service contract with Ericsson for an estimated $1 billion for design, planning, supply, installation and commissioning of its networks in 15 circles including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The contract also includes supply of next-generation equipment like media gateways and MSC servers.
