Ericsson has appointed Anders Thulin as the senior vice-president, business excellence and chief information officer of the company.
Beginning October 2013, Thulin will head Ericsson?s newly formed unit, Group Function Business Excellence and Common Functions. He will report to Hans Vestberg, president and chief executive officer, Ericsson.
In his new role, Thulin will be responsible for leveraging Ericsson?s global mobile enterprise services and capabilities to deliver an enhanced consumer experience to the company?s clients.
Prior to joining Ericsson, Tulin served as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company.
