Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) has appointed three directors on its board of directors from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL).
BBNL is responsible for rolling out broadband network to connect 2.5 lakh panchayats by 2014.
BBNL has appointed AK Bhargava as director – operations, PK Agarwal as director – planning and Arundhati Panda as director -Finance.
Prior to joining BBNL, Bhargava was working as executive Director for Wireless Services Division of MTNL, Agarwal served as the chief general manager for BSNL?s Rajasthan circle and Panda was working as deputy director general in Finance Department of BSNL.
