Vodafone Business Services plans to launch a machine to machine (M2M) platform to serve corporates and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), say news reports.
A 250-member team is working towards launching the company?s M2M platform. Vodafone Business Services will offer M2M solutions to various industries including automotive, power, logistics and manufacturing.
Vodafone?s SIM cards will be part of the solutions that will increase efficiencies and reduce scope for human errors. The company is already conducting pilot projects for a few players. As of now about 80,000 SIMs are in use for the segment.
