Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) plans to establish video conferencing (VC) centers at 200 locations in 2013.
The VC centers to be built by BSNL will be based on a revenue sharing model as part of the public-private partnership. BSNL will provide space and its telecom resources for setting up the VC centers to the selected vendor. The operator is likely to invite expression of interest from vendors for the project by end-December.
The operator is looking at generating additional revenue by setting up VC centers across the country.
