Vi tests 5G services across 26 GHz and 3.3 GHz bands in Pune to meet minimum roll-out obligations

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has successfully tested 5G services across both 25 GHz millimetre wave (mmWave) and 3.3 GHz mid-bands at Ghole Road, Pune, in a bid to meet the minimum roll-out obligations (MRO) mandated by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

According to DoT Maharashtra, Vi 5G testing (MRO phase-1) in 26 GHz and 3.3 GHz bands in Pune was successfully completed on August 16, 2023, by Maharastha licensed service area (LSA) Pune.
