The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a demand notice on Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals (GNVFC) for payment of outstanding dues worth Rs 150.19 billion. The dues have to be paid by January 23, 2020.
These dues have been sought in connection with VSAT and ISP licences held by the company and pertain to financial years from 2005-06 to 2018-19. The outstanding includes interest amount as well.
GNVFC has sought legal advice with regard to this and will decide the future course of action basis those inputs.
