The union minister for Communications chaired a meeting of the stakeholder advisory committee on telecom research, standardisation and innovation, interacting with industry participants and other stakeholders to reinforce India’s telecom research, standards and innovation framework.
The discussions focused on accelerating Atmanirbhar innovation through end-to-end smart and intelligent village initiatives, encouraging design-driven manufacturing within the country, and enhancing the contribution of Indian telecom designers in alignment with the broader Make in India agenda.
