Consumer electronics manufacturer, Micromax Informatics Limited has set up a research and development facility (R&D) in Beijing, China. The company is of the view that the new R&D centre will help it in expanding global operations and its service business with Yu Televentures, its newly launched subsidiary.
The company is planning to expand the facility with the introduction of more workforce to work on both hardware and software fields.
At present, Micromax has a R&D facility at Bengaluru and the new facility will work in tandem with the Indian centre.
