Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) has awarded a contract to OnMobile Global to offer Caller Ring Back Tone (CRBT) services to the company. As part of this agreement, OnMobile will also centrally manage TTSL’s content management systems across its code division multiple access (CDMA) and global system for mobile communications (GSM) networks. The deal has been signed for an initial three years and it will enable TTSL to improve operational efficiency, reduce turnaround time while providing for improved user experience to all its subscribers.
With this agreement, TTSL will be able to deploy a single cross-platform content management system. It will help the operator to offer a range of CRBT features to its CDMA customers which were earlier available only to GSM customers. This includes song search and activation through SMS and TTSL?s website.
