Unionor is planning to commence trials of 4G services soon and launch these services in 2014. Uninor has been in discussion with original equipment manufacturers regarding testing of 4G networks. The company will take a decision to launch the services commercially on the basis of their demand.

Presently, Uninor offers GSM-based mobile services in six of the 22 circles. It recently launched the ?Sabse Sasta Internet for All? to move to the internet and segment of revenues. The launch of 4G services by the company might lead to 4G tariff-focused strategies by the other telecom companies as the rates are in level with the 3G rates in the circles where the 4G services are available.
