Tata Communications has reported a 58 per cent increase in its net losses from Rs 213.8 million for the quarter ended June 2014 to Rs 338.6 million for the quarter ended June 2015. Meanwhile, its total income from operations increased marginally from Rs 51.11 billion to Rs 52.06 billion, during the same period.
However, for year ended March 31, 2015, the company reported a net profit of Rs 12.9 million whereas total income from operations stood at Rs 199.13 billion. The company has stated that the delay in filing its financial year-end accounts was due to one of its foreign subsidiaries, Neotel, and its associate companies being unable to finalise their audited accounts.
