Tata Communications has teamed up with Kaltura, a New York-based software company that allows publishers and content owners to publish, manage, and analyse their video and other rich media content.
As per the deal, Tata Communications? next generation Content Delivery Network will be combined with Kaltura?s leading open source online video platform. The integrated offering would enable media companies, enterprises and educational institutions to manage their entire video process, from acquisition to delivery, through a single easy-to-use platform.
Growing online and mobile consumption has changed the landscape of audience engagement in terms of how they view media and entertainment, work and learn. Consumers expect the best possible digital experience when viewing content, regardless of device and geographic location. However, given the complexity related to the video workflow and distribution for content providers, Tata Communications and Kaltura have collaborated to offer the industry an end-to-end, cloud-based video platform.
