Bharti Airtel will be reappointing Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman, Bharti Enterprises as its chairman, for a further term of five years effective October 1, 2021.
Earlier, Mittal was re-appointed as Airtel’s chairman on October 1, 2016, for a period of five years.
The development comes a day after Airtel’s announcement of its fourth-quarter (Q4) FY 2021 financial results.
