Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has announced special benefits worth Rs 2.94 billion for 60 million low-income customers on its network to help them stay connected amid the Covd-19 crisis.
To this end, Vi is giving Rs 49 prepaid plan free to over 60 million low income customers. The plan offers talktime of Rs 38 and 100 MB data with a validity of 28 days. Additionally, Vi also launched a new Combo Voucher for Rs 79 that will offer a large base population and will give users the benefit of double talktime of Rs 128 for a limited time period.
The move comes after telcos’ rivals Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio announced Covid-19 relief plans for users.
