Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Bharti Enterprises, has stepped down as chairman of the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC). He will be succeeded by Paul Polman, CEO, Unilever. Mittal is now serving as honorary chairman of the ICC. During his two-year term, Mittal has been lauded for having worked towards the promotion of rules-based policymaking to enable inclusive trade, innovation and job creation on behalf of more than 6 million members of the ICC.
