Vodafone India and Idea Cellular have announced the appointment of nine executives each, as circle heads for the merged entity, which is proposed to operate under the brand name Vodafone Idea Limited.
The following have been selected from Idea Cellular’s team: Rajendra Chaurasia will head the Maharashtra and Goa circle; Sunil Tolani will head the Mumbai circle; Sanjay David will be responsible for Odisha’s operations; Puneet Krishnan will be in charge of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle; M.D. Prasad will lead the Kerala circle; Rajesh Naik will lead the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circle; Monishi Ghosh will head the Bihar and Jharkhand circle; Sudhir Pradhan will lead Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh; and Sanjeev Govil will take charge of the Haryana circle.
From Vodafone India, the following executives have been selected: Arvinder Singh will take charge of the Delhi circle; Abhijeet Kishore will lead the Gujarat circle; Murali S. will head the Tamil Nadu and Chennai circle; Arvind Nevatia will head the Karnataka circle; Shivan Bhargava will be in charge of Kolkata and the Rest of Bengal; Nidhi Lauria will be responsible for Assam and the Northeast; Amit Bedi is likely to continue as the Rajasthan head; Nipun Sharma is proposed to take charge of Uttar Pradesh (East); and Ashish Chandra will be responsible for Uttar Pradesh (West).
