Sterlite Technologies Limited is planning to extend its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network in Netherlands.

The company plans to deliver high speed internet connectivity to about 40,000 households in five new cities by the end of 2013.

Currently, it is offering broadband services to 10,000 homes across two cities in the country.

In 2013, Sterlite Technologies Limited will deploy more than 400 km of fibre cable and 3,000 km of direct buried fibre access cable along with ducts, micro-tubes, ODF drawers and cabinets.
