Samsung?s Galaxy S III made its debut in the Indian market today.
Priced at Rs 43,180, It comes bundled with 3GB of free data for two months for Vodafone customers. This offer is valid until August 31, 2012.
The device packs in an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colours, the TouchWiz user interface version 4 and Class 12 GPRS.
The Galaxy S III operates on the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and has a 1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex A 9 processor. It houses dual cameras (an 8 megapixel primary camera and a 1.9 megapixel secondary camera), 1 GB RAM, 64 GB storage memory, Bluetooth connectivity, support for video recording and playback and various applications.
These include the S-Voice natural language commands and dictation, the Smart Stay eye tracking platform, an inbuilt dropbox with 50 GB storage capacity, active noise cancellation with a dedicated microphone, the TV-out facility, (via MHL A/V link) and SNS integration.
