
Samsung Electronics has strengthened its mobile manufacturing operations in India, by bringing in investments of over $70 million. This amount will help in tripling the capacity of its mobile manufacturing unit.

The mobile manufacturing unit at Noida is Samsung?s sixth unit in the world. The company is manufacturing multimedia, dual SIM and touchcreen models at the Noida facility.
Besides, the company also has a manufacturing complex at Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. Samsung India is also operating two R&D centers at Noida and Bangalore to support its business operations in the country.
