Reliance Communications (RCOM) has collaborated with Google to market Android devices in India over its network for the next two years.

Through this strategic collaboration, RCOM will market the Android mobile operating system and Google Mobile Services, to promote the usage of Android devices in the country.

The operator plans to offer various data plans and services specifically targeted to promote Android devices on its network. Besides, the operator will also offer 1 GB of free data usage per month to all Android device users.

The operator will also introduce customer care facilities, carrier billing, applications and content in addition to the Android experience zone at Reliance retail outlets across the country.
