Adani Group’s Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIAL) has reportedly entered into a partnership with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to roll out a digital passenger communication system, including complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, as the airport prepares to begin commercial operations on December 25, 2025.

Under the partnership, BSNL will deploy domestically developed telecom equipment from the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), Tejas Networks and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). At the airport, BSNL will deliver voice and data connectivity for all users, alongside free Wi-Fi services to ensure continuous digital access.

Additionally, passengers accessing the airport’s free Wi-Fi, which offers speeds of up to 10 megabits per second (Mbps), will use the Adani OneApp as a virtual assistant. The application will provide real-time flight information, boarding gate details, schedules and notifications directly on passengers’ devices, while also guiding them to food outlets, retail areas and lounges to help manage their time efficiently.
