Mahesh Prasad, former, president and chief marketing officer, Reliance Communications (RCOM) has joined Syniverse.
He has joined the company as president, sales, Americas. At Syniverse he will lead sales growth for the company. Previously, at RCOM, Prasad was responsible for the marketing of voice, data and content services of the operator in the country.
Prasad has more than 20 years of industry experience in telecom. In the past he has worked in United States with operators like Nextel, Verizon (Bell Atlantic) and MCI WorldCom.
Syniverse has also given additional responsibilities to Alfred de Cardenas, president, global sales and customer support, to lead the company?s roaming, messaging and network lines of business. It has appointed de Cardenas as the chief executive officer of the company.
