TATA DOCOMO has launched traffic SMS alerts service for its pre-paid and postpaid subscribers in Benguluru.
The alerts will provide traffic related information such as speed at which the traffic is moving within different areas of the city, updates on traffic jams, road accidents etc.
The traffic SMS alert service can be availed by the subscribers at a monthly rental of Rs 30 or weekly rental of Rs 10 or on a daily basis for Rs 1.5. The subscribers can choose start and end location while selecting the time to receive real time traffic information through SMS.
