Addressing an event in Washington, D.C, USA, Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, noted that India has launched its indigenously developed 5G infrastructure and is ready to share it with other countries as well.
In addition, the minister informed that the indigenously developed 5G is completely standalone (SA) in nature. Further, she also informed that 5G services has been recently launched by the Prime Minister in select Indian cities and are likely to cover the entire nation by 2024.
