According to S Krishnan, secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), India seeks to build a trusted and resilient supply chain for the electronics manufacturing sector in partnership with the United States (US).
As per him, American firms have been instrumental in transforming India into a global hub for electronics manufacturing.
Krishnan was speaking during the second roundtable of the Indo-US Task Force for Electronics, organised by the Delhi-based association of electronics and handset makers.
