HMD Global has appointed Tanuj Patro as the chief financial officer (CFO) for the India and Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets. Patro will be required to oversee HMD Global’s financial operations in India and APAC markets, while working closely with the leadership team to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
Patro has previously worked under HMD Global where he served as the commercial controller from March 2017 to June 2018, responsible for leading the company’s commercial/ business finance team for operations in India. He has also worked with Paytm, Microsoft, Nokia, LG and E&Y in the past. Patro is a chartered accountant and pursued Advanced Executive Management Program from INSEAD.
