Etisalat has announced the successful completion of the acquisition of a 26 per cent stake in Pakistan Telecommunication Company.
All pending issues have been agreed upon, including the conditions for payment of $2.6 billion. The amount will be paid through Etisalat International Pakistan, of which Etisalat owns 90 per cent and the rest is held by Dubai Islamic Bank.
