Echelon Edge (EEPL) has been awarded the mandate to manage Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) call detail record (CDR) project across the North and East Zones. As part of this engagement, Echelon Edge will take full responsibility for operational support systems (OSS)/ business support system (BSS) operations supporting BSNL’s fixed-line services.
The project involves comprehensive, end-to-end management of both hardware and software infrastructure for BSNL’s CDR operations, including annual maintenance and managed services. Echelon Edge has deployed a dedicated team of over 50 OSS/BSS and system experts across BSNL’s Panchkula and Kolkata data centres to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, platform optimisation, and service continuity.
Through this engagement, Echelon Edge is managing the entire OSS/BSS technology stack that supports BSNL’s fixed-line, broadband, and leased line services across retail and enterprise segments. The project incorporates some of the most advanced global technologies, bringing together various original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver service stability and operational excellence.
Commenting on the development, Anurag Singh, chief technology officer (CTO) and co-founder, Echelon Edge, said, “The BSNL CDR Project brings together one of the most complex OSS/BSS environments in the country. Managing this ecosystem with global OEMs, real-time service requirements, and high-volume fixed-line operations demands deep integration expertise and operational maturity. This engagement is not just about technology; it is about driving stability, scalability, and long-term transformation in India’s telecom backbone.”
