Bharti Airtel partners with Sanlam for distribution of financial products in Africa

Bharti Airtel has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with South-Africa based financial services group, Sanlam, for the distribution of insurance and health funding products.


As part of the agreement, Bharti Airtel will be providing financial services products in seven African countries, including Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, Malawi and Nigeria.


The operator will be selling Sanlam’s life, general and health insurance products through its extensive telecommunications networks in these seven countries.
