Samsung launches Galaxy S -Duos (GT-S7562) priced at Rs 17, 900

Samsung has enhanced its dual SIM smartphone portfolio in the country, with the launch of the Galaxy S Duos (GT-S7562) and Galaxy Duos Lite (GT-S5302) devices.


The Galaxy S Duos operates on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and packs in a 4-inch screen, dual cameras (a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front and LED flash camera).


It also comes preloaded with the ChatOn messenger service and applications like My Education, My Music, My Movies and Handy. The smartphone is priced at Rs 17, 900.


The GALAXY Y Duos Lite operates on the Android Gingerbread platform and houses 3 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB. It is priced at Rs 6, 990.


Commenting on the launch, Asim Warsi, vice-president, Samsung Mobile, says, “At Samsung, we are seeking to fuel the growth of the dual SIM market in India by launching our innovative, dual-SIM smartphones. With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S Duos, we are seeking to democratise the smartphone market in India. “
