Bharti Airtel has made an investment of $150 million in its African operations, say news reports.
The operator has routed these funds through its Mauritius-based wholly-owned subsidiary. The funds will be utilised to meet operational as well as financial costs related to Airtel Africa. It has also offered a $154 million guarantee through a Netherlands-based joint venture firm.
